The Leica Connected Owner Application is a proof-of-concept (POC) mobile app designed to enhance the customer journey for Leica camera owners. The app was developed based on user research to better understand the needs and behaviors of Leica camera owners, and provides a personalized experience for novice, prosumer, and professional users.

Push Notifications & Use Cases

The onboarding process welcomes Leica owners and provides a life cycle of push notifications for the first 90 days after purchase. The notifications guide the user through the process of registering their device, getting to know their camera, and learning about accessories that may be of interest to them. The notifications also provide tips for photography enthusiasts.

Visual Design

The app features a social feed, photography storage, device registration, profile section, and tips for photography enthusiasts. It also provides travel and lifestyle suggestions based on the user's location, and allows them to search for locations and save photo memories.

The Feed: Allows users to connect with the Leica community and view posts from other users.
